Job summary

The Dufresne Group, Ashley Canada’s flagship retailer, is seeking a part-time Warehouse Merchandise Handler for the Guelph Ashley store. The role focuses on supporting visual presentation, warehousing, and customer service at 389 Woodlawn Rd W, Guelph, ON.

Candidates should be able to work retail hours, be physically fit to lift up to 100 lbs, and enjoy a team-driven environment with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience an asset.
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system.
• Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising.
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building.
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery.
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation.
• Load and unload freight trailers.
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean.

Ashley Canada is currently seeking aWarehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store)for our Guelphstore located at 389 Woodlawn Rd W.

This position is being posted to fill an immediate staffing need within the department. We are actively seeking qualified candidates who can step into the role and contribute to the team as soon as possible.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of visual presentation for our home furnishing products in our stores.
