Job summary

Bedard Human Resources is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for our Saint-Laurent facility. The role focuses on ensuring accurate orders, shipping, and quality control in a fast-paced food-distribution environment.

You will assist in inventory, organize the warehouse, and coordinate with multiple departments to maintain compliance, while supporting health and safety efforts. Students welcomed and flexibility during peak periods is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of production experience.
• Increased availability during peak periods (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.).
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ship orders according to specifications.
• Verify shipping documents (labels, invoices).
• Welcome clients.
• Assist in inventory counts and accuracy of inventory (perishable and non-perishable).
• Organize the warehouse for space and efficiency.
• Communicate with departments to ensure order compliance.
• Perform product quality inspections according to procedures.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Attend health and safety meetings.

Tasks

• Preparing and ensuring the accuracy of received orders and shipping them according to specifications.
• Verifying the accuracy of shipping documents (labels, invoices).
• Welcoming clients.
• Participating in inventory counts and ensuring the accuracy of both perishable and non-perishable product inventory (when needed).
• Organizing the warehouse to maximize space and efficiency.
• Communicating with various departments to ensure order compliance.
• Performing product quality inspections according to procedures.
• Loading and unloading trailers.
