Cansew Inc. in Montreal, QC is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for order picking and packing. You will verify items, stage shipments, operate basic warehouse equipment and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm with standard hourly pay and benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in warehouse, picking or distribution is a plus.
• Ability to understand picking lists and labels, follow instructions.

Responsabilités

• Pick products from warehouse shelves according to orders.
• Verify product numbers, quantities, sizes and descriptions.
• Pack, label and stage orders for shipment.
• Operate pallet jacks, carts and order-picking equipment.
• Load and unload products safely.
• Inspect for damage and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory and communicate shortages.
• Keep areas clean and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow company policies and health and safety rules.
• Assist with receiving, stocking and replenishment.
• Use scanners, tablets and WMS to update inventory and picks.

Responsibilities

• Pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and picking lists
• Verify product numbers, quantities, sizes, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy
• Pack, label, and stage completed orders for shipment or delivery
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and order-picking equipment as required
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently
• Inspect products for damage or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate supervisor
• Maintain accurate inventory and communicate stock shortages or discrepancie
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety standards
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements
• Assist with receiving, stocking, replenishment, and other warehouse duties as needed
• Use handheld scanners, tablets, warehouse management systems, and other technology to scan products, verify orders, update inventory, and record completed picks
• Meet established productivity, accuracy, and quality standards

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous warehouse, order picking, or distribution experience is an asset
• Ability to read and understand picking lists, product labels, and basic instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products as required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Experience operating a forklift or order picker is an asset; certification may be required depending on equipment used.

Education and Training Requirements

• Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels
