Job summary

Snackruptors Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations, ensuring safe and efficient handling of production materials and finished goods, while maintaining compliance with FIFO, GMP, and safety standards.

You will optimize storage space, supervise the Shipping Supervisor, and drive continuous improvement in inventory and process efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Two-year degree required; bachelor’s preferred; experience may substitute for education.
  • Experience in logistics management preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong oral and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient movement of materials and products.
  • Design and implement warehousing strategies to optimize space and reduce clutter.
  • Manage shipping staff and coordinate with Inventory and Shipping teams.
  • Ensure FIFO compliance, GMP, food safety, and health & safety guidelines.
  • Provide daily management support and develop a high-performing warehouse team.
  • Monitor time, attendance, and staff performance; approve time off.

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement, storage, and distribution of production materials and finished goods. This role manages warehouse capacity, equipment, inventory flow, shipping activities, staffing, and performance to support production requirements and on‑time customer deliveries. The Warehouse Manager ensures compliance with FIFO, Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, health and safety, quality, and company policies while driving continuous improvement, reducing warehouse clutter, maintaining equipment, and developing a high‑performing warehouse team.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
  • Design and implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials and finished products, reducing warehouse clutter.
  • Take steps to avoid quality control issues and ensure the integrity of handled material.
  • Maintain optimal warehouse capacity and equipment condition.
  • Manage the shipping staff with the Shipping Supervisor.
  • Strategically manage warehouse operations in compliance with company policies and vision.
  • Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Train operators on products and processes.
  • Provide daily management and support to achieve operational success.
  • Assign work schedules and timesheets, track performance, and approve vacation requests.
  • Ensure staff follows FIFO protocol and collaborate with shipping and inventory teams to avoid excess stock.
  • Obtain quotes for warehouse equipment from external vendors.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis for issues related to transfers and outsides.
  • Monitor time, attendance, and compliance with company procedures.
  • Carry out incident, accident and non‑conformity investigations and report outcomes.
  • Issue disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and manage equipment procurement.
  • Ensure clear communication of plans, targets, goals, and results to all staff.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.
