  • Partnership with Randstad's expert recruiters to support you throughout your career journey
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee all domestic and international inbound and outbound logistics operations for equipment rentals, repairs, and sales
  • Evaluate shipping options and negotiate competitive freight rates with carriers, forwarders, and customs brokers to optimize costs
  • Pack, load, unload, and inspect sensitive scientific equipment, ensuring all required components and documentation are included
  • Prepare, review, and process critical shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing slips, waybills, and customs declarations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and databases, ensuring all equipment, parts, and accessories are meticulously tracked
  • Inspect returned rental equipment for damage, clean it thoroughly, and return it to a rental‑ready status or route it for technical repair
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and bills of lading, promptly resolving any shortages, damages, or discrepancies
  • Review, verify, and approve freight invoices, resolving billing discrepancies and negotiating charge adjustments when necessary
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and customers regarding freight options, shipment statuses, and delivery schedules
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, taking ownership of facility upkeep and waste disposal
  • Analyze logistics performance metrics to recommend process improvements, reduce operational risks, and enhance supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of proven working experience in logistics, supply chain, shipping, receiving, or inventory control
  • Post‑secondary diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is highly preferred
  • Demonstrable experience preparing international shipping documentation and navigating customs requirements
  • Physical capability to safely lift, move, and handle equipment, boxes, and materials as required by daily operations
