Job summary

Staples Canada in Calgary operates a full-time warehouse role with shifts Monday to Friday from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. The position requires handling daily warehouse tasks, directing staff, and maintaining safety and quality standards to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily warehouse activities, which includes the direction of warehouse employees to ensure that all job tasks are performed as effectively and efficiently as possible in a manner that meets customer service standards, productivity and quality goals.
• Efficiently direct all job tasks within the operation in a manner that increases productivity and meets workload targets before the end of shift.
• Resolve production and personnel issues during shift and reports necessary problems to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Administer company policies and represent Staples in a positive and professional manner.
• Ensure housekeeping standards and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure all Health and Safety guidelines are enforced.

• The employee may operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards.
