Job summary

Staples Canada is hiring for a full-time warehouse role in Amherst, Nova Scotia. The position involves supporting inbound and outbound operations, picking and stocking products, packing, loading, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Some Important Details

• Warehouse Address: 9 Tantramar Cres, Amherst, NS, B4H 4J6
• Shift Time: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm
• Wage: $17.40 per hour

Some Of What You Will Do

Perform system and/or manual tasks to support inbound and outbound operations. Identify and resolve issues in various functional areas; breakpack , breakdown, put away, replenishment, QC, staging, loading, shipping. Support efficient warehouse processing and maximize warehouse space usage. Perform work under the direction of warehouse lead, supervisor or manager.

Additional Requirements Information

This position requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity to perform the essential duties of this role:

• The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand.
• The employee may operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
