Job summary

Lineage in Milton, ON is hiring a Warehouse Lead Admin for the 1st shift. This full-time, on-site role runs Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm, guiding warehouse associates to meet service, quality and safety standards.

You will coordinate shipping/receiving, manage paperwork, and train staff while interfacing with internal customers and driving continuous improvement. The position requires experience in warehouses, handling equipment, and the ability to work in cold storage environments.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience required.
• WMS AS400 experience is a plus.
• Experience with material handling equipment is required.
• At least 3 years in warehouse or logistics environment.
• Ability to work in cold storage at -20°F / -25°C with provided PPE.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs (18 kg) and more depending on facility.
• Flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Work may involve loud environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and direct the work of warehouse associates in a designated area.
• Handle inbound/outbound paperwork and orders.
• Coach and train team members.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving documents for multiple customers.
• Enter customer/supplier data and inventory records accurately.
• Support pick up/delivery appointments based on service goals.
• Maintain driver logs and transportation reports.
• Interface with internal customers daily and assist manager as needed.
• Assist invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
• Report defects and take corrective action promptly.
• Manage warehouse associate duties including forklift operations and stocking.
• Document daily inspections of equipment and trailers.
• Inspect inbound/outbound shipments for quantity and quality; report differences.

Warehouse Lead Admin - 1st Shift at Lineage in Milton, ON, CA

This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. Monday through Friday 7am - 3pm Partner with Operations Leadership to make sure all functions of the warehouse are completed. Assign work to warehouse associates to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

• Plan, assign and direct the work of warehouse associates within a designated area
• Handle inbound and outbound paperwork (processing orders)
• Coaching & training team members
• Process and coordinate shipping and receiving documents across several customers daily
• Enter customer and supplier information and inventory management data accurately
• Support the arrangement of pick up/delivery appointments based on service and schedule requirements
• Maintain, generate, and audit driver logs and transportation reports
• Interface with internal customers daily and support initiatives as assigned by manager
• Assist with invoicing and account receivables collection
• Report defective or damaged products and follow up with appropriate corrective action in a timely manner
• Manage warehouse associate responsibilities as needed including loading and unloading, forklift operation, product relocation, etc.
• Handle and document daily inspections including equipment inspections and inbound/outbound trailer inspections
• Check inbound/outbound shipments for compliance, and report quantity difference and quality issues where applicable
• Maintain communication with Traffic and Customer Service
• Coach and provide feedback to warehouse associates
• Perform assigned projects as instructed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Administrative experience
• WMS "AS400" experience is a plus
• Experience with Material handling equipment
• 3 years of experience in a warehouse and/or logistics environment
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$24.81 - $38.80
