Canadian Tire stores are looking for a Warehouse Associate to help receive, verify, store, and transport goods safely within a busy retail warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include scanning, inventory checks and maintaining safety standards. We offer a friendly team, ongoing training, and opportunities for development within a respected Canadian retailer.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to stand/walk for 8 hours and frequently lift items.
• Able to work shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong computer skills are preferred.
• Ability to adapt and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements / Skills

• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) (asset)
