Canadian Tire Stores in Grande Prairie is hiring a Warehouse Associate to receive, verify, store and transport products to the sales floor or within the warehouse, handling merchandise of varying weights safely.

No prior experience is required; we provide all training. The role requires physical stamina, ability to work days/evenings/weekends/holidays, and basic computer skills. Forklift certification is an asset and on-site parking is available.

Responsibilities

• Dispose garbage and cardboard, maintain clean workspace.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow safety rules.

Requirements / Skills

• No experience is required!!! – We will provide all the training you need!
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) (asset)
