Canadian Tire Owen Sound is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help receive, verify, store, and move products safely to the sales floor or within the warehouse. The role involves handling merchandise of varying weights throughout the shift.

You will join an amazingly friendly team with ongoing training, flexible hours, and employee benefits. No experience is required; training is provided, and forklift certification is an asset.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; training provided.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift items for long periods.
• Shifts include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Good computer skills for stock systems and paperwork.
• Forklift/skyjack certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, verify and store all incoming products.
• Store overstock and ship returns as needed.
• Process damaged claims and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and comply with safety rules.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and dispose of waste properly.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, verify and store all incoming products.
• Store overstock.
• Ship returns, process damaged claims and complete paperwork.
• Ensure inventory accuracy.
• Dispose garbage and cardboard.
• Operate all warehouse equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements / Skills

• No experience is required!!! – We will provide all the training you need!
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) (asset)
