Job summary

Trail Appliances is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced team in BC. You will receive, verify, unpack and sort materials, process and pack orders for shipping, and maintain inventory using a warehouse management system.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role emphasizes safety, teamwork, weekend availability, and the ability to lift and operate equipment such as stand-up/sit-down counter balance forklifts and reach trucks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Stand-up/Sit-down counter balance experience and certification.
• Reach truck experience.
• Forklift certificate preferred.
• Ability to lift and meet physical demands.
• Be able to work on weekends.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling the products in our warehouse. The typical day in this role would be receiving, verifying, unpacking and sorting incoming materials in an organized fashion, processing and packing incoming customer orders in preparation for shipping, you will also be maintaining accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system, with a focus on warehouse safety. You get to work with other warehouse workers which will make the position fun.

Compensation:

Wage: Starting at $23.00 (guaranteed annual wage progression)

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be:

• Processing and packing incoming customer orders in preparation for shipping
• Receiving, verifying, unpacking and sorting incoming materials in an organized fashion
• Maintaining accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system
• Safe operation of warehousing equipment in accordance with safety procedures
• Maintaining warehouse safety and cleanliness

To be successful in this role you should:

• Have a Stand-up/Sit-down counter balance experience and certification.
• Carton Clamp operation desired
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have 2 years warehouse experience preferred
• Have Reach truck experience
• Have an ability to do some lifting and meet physical demands
• Forklift Certificate preferred
• Be able to work on weekends

Work Environment:

• Working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks
• Collaborating with internal departments to coordinate the warehouse processes
• Schedule : 40 hours per week

$23 - $24.10 an hour
