Job summary

Trail Appliances Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Delta to safely handle products, process customer orders, and maintain inventory in a fast-paced, climate-controlled warehouse.

The role is a temporary, full-time position for three months with potential extension. Starting pay is $23/hour with a $1/hour shift premium, increasing to $24.10/hour for experienced candidates plus the premium.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years clamp/oversize handling experience.
• Forklift certification required to operate equipment.
• Stand-up/sit-down counterbalance MHE experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and pack incoming customer orders for shipping.
• Receive, verify, unpack and sort incoming materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse system.
• Operate warehouse equipment per regulations.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely handling products in our Delta warehouse. The regular duties of this role include receiving and storing products, preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and performing daily housekeeping activities while contributing to a safe and healthy workplace.

This is a temporary, full-time three-month position with the possibility of extension.

Compensation:

• Starting at $23 per hour with $1/hour shift premium
• Experienced Candidates: $24.10 per hour with $1/ hour shift premium
• Guaranteed yearly wage progression

You must bring 3 years of Clamp/Oversize handling experience

As a Warehouse Associate, you will

• Be processing and packing incoming customer orders in preparation for shipping
• Be receiving, verifying, unpacking and sorting incoming materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system
• Operate the warehousing equipment in accordance with regulations
• Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness.

To be successful in this role, you should have

• A current or previous Forklift certification.
• A Stand-up/Sit-down counterbalance MHE experience
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• The ability to lift up to 50LBS
• A Good oral and written communication skills

Work Environment

• Working in a climate-controlled warehouse
• Comfortable working with large items.
• Must be able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time
• Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling of boxes throughout the warehouse can be expected.
• Schedule: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Tuesday to Saturday
