Job summary

Kerr Controls Ltd. in Saint John, New Brunswick, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our HVACR-distribution team. You will receive, store, and prepare orders, assist with inventory accuracy, and support branch operations while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices, WHMIS, and Dangerous Goods handling.
• First Aid and OH&S training are assets.
• Experience in HVACR, plumbing, electrical, or wholesale distribution is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills; experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Ability to safely perform moderate to heavy lifting on a regular basis.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with inventory counts as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and maintained according to safety standards.
• Provide support to customers, sales staff, and fellow team members to help achieve branch goals.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements.
