Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Pickering is seeking reliable Warehouse Associates to join our team. This is an evaluation hire (temporary to permanent) with full-time hours, offering growth within a well-established company.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and organizing materials, operating RF scanners, packing and labeling, and ensuring order accuracy while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Afternoon shift: 11:00am–7:30pm, pay rate $22/hour.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• RF scanners experience is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Use RF Scanners to electronically scan barcodes and handle products.
• Perform housekeeping duties and adhere to safety policies.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect and put away materials within the warehouse
• Perform warehouse operations (load, unload, receive, put away, pick, pack and ship)
• Package, tape, label, sort and manually lift products
• Verify accuracy of orders picked (product name and size, product code, expiration date and quantity)
• Count, confirm and complete paperwork for quantities of materials received
• Use RF Scanners to electronically scan barcodes and handle products
• Perform housekeeping duties (clean‑up, dispose of waste, materials and products)
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Performing other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2 years of experience working in a Warehouse environment
• Previous use of RF scanners required
• Safety boots/shoes required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Excellent organization and attention to detail skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience using inventory software (asset)
• Knowledge of safety rules and policies
• Own vehicle preferred (not public transit accessible)

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Afternoon Shift: 11:00am to 7:30pm
• Pay Rate: $22 per hour
