Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Pickering is seeking an Order Picker to join a leading HVAC distributor. You will pick orders, retrieve products, and prepare shipments for delivery, while maintaining accuracy and safety in a busy warehouse.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, on a 2-month contract with competitive hourly pay and valuable warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Warehouse and Order Picking experience.
• Must be comfortable standing on feet for long periods.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable lifting up to 30lbs.
• Safety boots required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using pick sheets and warehouse documentation.
• Locate, retrieve, and prepare HVAC products (small parts, nuts, bolts, motors, etc.) for shipment.
• Verify orders for accuracy and completeness before staging for shipping.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and pre-inventory preparation activities.
• Organize and stock products within warehouse locations.
• Assist with receiving and replenishing inventory as required.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
• Package and prepare products for shipment while ensuring proper handling and care.
• Keep warehouse aisles, shelves, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and warehouse procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Team player that can work under minimal supervision

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Pay Rate: $19 per hour
