Job summary

Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our North York facility. You will move, sort, dismantle and lift materials in a high-volume environment while following safety standards.

Tasks include operating baler and shrink wrap equipment, maintaining records in ERP, and assisting in other warehouse areas as needed. The role requires attention to detail, safety discipline, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sort electronic materials by grade in assigned boxes.
• Manually dismantle electronics using small tools as required.
• Operate baler and shrink wrapper; follow safety policies and work instructions.
• Record weights and material data in the ERP system.
• Maintain site housekeeping and report issues to supervisor.

Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: 700 Ormont Dr, North York ON, M9L 2V4
Shift time: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM & 3:30 PM to 11:30PM
Position Status: Permanent Full-Time

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. In a specified area of the plant, the Warehouse associate will be required to move, sort, break apart and lift materials in an efficient manner while respecting standards of security and safety. The production associate will be responsible for operating the baler that compresses and bounds materials, operate the shrink wrapper, and assist in other areas of the warehouse as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifies and sorts different electronic materials in assigned boxes while adhering to classification of commodities into different grades to maximize production output
• Manually dismantle electronics materials by hand of small tools
• Follow policies, procedures, and work instructions for all daily activities.
• Sort materials into defined categories and report weights processed
• Record data into ERP system regarding weight of material
• Remove batteries from all electronics.
• Always maintain housekeeping and site cleanliness with a focus on Health & Safety
• Promptly report any issues to the Production Supervisor or designate
• Other duties may be required as requested by supervisor or team lead

Job Knowledge and Skills:

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is an asset
• Positive attitude and desire to learn
• Commitment to personal safety and safety of coworkers
• Experience using various hand tools/ air tools/power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 40 lbs. or 18 kgs

Working Conditions:

• High volume of heavy equipment traffic
• High exposure to designated substances
• High Exposure to loud noises; hot and cold temperatures, dusty conditions
• Repetitive tasks with a fast passed processing environment
• Must wear required PPE, respirator, safety glasses, gloves and safety shoes
