Job summary

Valor Distributions, based in Ontario, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our fast-moving logistics team. You will handle inventory, operate heavy equipment, and support shipping and receiving with accuracy and safety.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, ownership, and teamwork in a lean commercial environment; prior warehouse experience and familiarity with AS400 or similar systems are preferred.

Starting pay is 17.95 CAD per hour with potential monthly performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred in environments with heavy equipment operation or manufacturing settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with order fulfillment, packaging, shipping & receiving processes.
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment like reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or construction machinery.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with construction or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices for heavy equipment operation

Responsibilities

• Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage shipping and receiving activities, including verifying shipments using warehouse management systems and MS Excel.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to proper ergonomic practices.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing inventory, managing stock levels, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to load and unload materials, ensuring timely delivery and shipment of products.
• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse

THE ROLE

COMPENSATION
