Job summary

STLTH Vape in Scarborough, ON, is hiring for a Warehouse Associate to support logistics and distribution. You will handle inventory, operate heavy equipment, and ensure timely shipping and receiving processes.

The role requires experience in warehouse operations, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and strong emphasis on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience; relevant to heavy equipment operation or manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with order fulfillment, packing, shipping & receiving.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks (preferred), forklifts, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse.
• Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage shipping and receiving activities, including verifying shipments using warehouse management systems and MS Office Excel.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to proper ergonomic practices.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing inventory, managing stock levels, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to load and unload materials, ensuring timely delivery and shipment of products.

About The Role

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our logistics and distribution operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes.

• Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage shipping and receiving activities, including verifying shipments using warehouse management systems and MS Office Excel
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to proper ergonomic practices
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks

Skills and Experience

• Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in environments involving heavy equipment operation or manufacturing settings
• Demonstrated proficiency with warehouse management systems and MS Excel
• Hands-on experience with order fulfillment, packaging, shipping & receiving processes
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment like reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or construction machinery
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices for heavy equipment operation
