Altis Technology is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Associate in Mississauga to join a furniture retail and logistics team. You will support day-to-day warehouse operations, manage inventory, and replenish showrooms while collaborating with the Warehouse Manager. The role offers a path toward leadership as you grow with the team.

The role suits someone who enjoys physical, fast-paced work, values organization, and delivers strong customer service to shoppers and colleagues alike.

Formación

  • Strong experience in warehouse operations, furniture retail, or a similar physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills in a retail/warehouse setting.
  • Experience with inventory management, stock organization, and receiving procedures.
  • Ability to safely lift/move heavy furniture and work well in a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Forklift or order picker experience or certification is an asset, but not required.

Responsabilidades

  • Support the Warehouse Manager in coordinating daily activities and keeping operations running smoothly.
  • Receive, unload, organize, and track furniture inventory; identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Replenish and organize the showroom to present furniture professionally.
  • Safely lift, move, wrap, and prepare furniture for deliveries and customer pickups.
  • Assist with loading furniture, including larger items, using appropriate equipment and safe lifting practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Interact with customers during pickups, providing friendly, professional service.

Job Details
  • Location: Mississauga, ON (On-site)
  • Language: Strong verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week. Monday to Sunday, with rotating weekend shifts. Between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM
  • Background Check: Standard references and criminal check required.
About the Opportunity

In this role, you'll support day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, and showroom replenishment while working closely with the Warehouse Manager. Your Responsibilities
  • You'll support the Warehouse Manager in coordinating daily activities and keeping warehouse operations running efficiently.
  • You'll receive, unload, organize, and track furniture inventory, helping identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • You'll safely lift, move, wrap, and prepare furniture for deliveries and customer pickups.
  • You'll assist with loading furniture, including larger items such as sofas and dressers, using appropriate equipment and safe lifting practices.
  • You'll maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • You'll interact with customers during pickups, providing friendly, professional service.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong experience in warehouse operations, furniture retail, or a similar physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills, with a professional and approachable manner
  • Experience with inventory management, stock organization, and receiving procedures
  • Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture, independently or with team assistance and appropriate equipment
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Forklift or order picker experience or certification is an asset, but training can be provided
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, within the Monday-to-Sunday 40h workweek schedule
