Job summary

Canadian Tire Regina is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, scan, verify and store incoming and overstock products, and to ship returns with proper paperwork.

You will support the team by maintaining warehouse housekeeping, responding to customer and staff inquiries, delivering and assembling merchandise, reconciling inventory differences, and disposing of damaged items and recyclables in accordance with store policy.

Responsibilities

• Receives, scans, verifies, and stores all incoming and overstock products according to established procedures and policies.
• Ships returns and completes proper paperwork.
• Maintains housekeeping disciplines in the warehouse to facilitate location of products by all staff.
• Responds to and handles customer and staff inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner.
• Delivers and assembles merchandise as required.
• Reconciles inventory differences.
• Prepares merchandise for filing, sorts and fills merchandise carts for the retail floor.
• Handles garbage disposal, cardboard recycling, and disposal of broken products in accordance with store policy.
• Processes damaged and returned claims.
• Repairs broken packages as needed.
• Operates computer and scanning tools, and enters all relevant coding in Canadian Tire systems.
• Handles dangerous goods and hazardous products according to established procedures.
