Job summary

The Fastener Group Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Associate 2 to support inventory management and efficient warehouse operations in Canada. The role focuses on processing shipments, organizing stock, and ensuring accurate records align with distribution activities across locations.

You will work with team members to optimize storage, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to timely order fulfillment, improving overall customer satisfaction and supply chain flow in the Canadian market.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, typically up to 50 lbs.
• Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Picking customers and interbranch orders and double-checking for accuracy prior to shipment.
• Unload inbound trucks and trailers (in compliance with safe material handling procedures) and stage the goods in the receiving lane as directed.
• Process inbound shipments, including sorting, quality checking, and count verification.
• Perform put-away of product on all levels of racking using appropriate powered material handling equipment where required.
• Other duties, such as organizing shelves, cleaning the warehouse, and other tasks as assigned by the manager.
