Job summary

The Fastener Group Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ensure efficient warehouse operations in our Saskatoon facility. You will manage inventory, process inbound and outbound shipments, and maintain accurate records to support supply chain activities.

Collaboration with team members helps optimize storage and on-time order fulfillment in the Canadian market. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential as you contribute to a secure and organized warehouse environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Picking customers and interbranch orders and double-checking for accuracy prior to shipment.
• Unload inbound trucks and trailers and stage goods in receiving lane.
• Process inbound shipments including sorting, quality checking, and count verification.
• Perform put-away of product on all levels of racking using appropriate equipment.
• Organize shelves, clean the warehouse, and perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

About the Role:

The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse within the retail trade industry. This position is responsible for managing inventory, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate records to support supply chain activities. The role requires collaboration with team members to optimize storage solutions and ensure timely order fulfillment. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintain a secure and organized warehouse environment. Ultimately, the Warehouse Associate 2 contributes to the seamless flow of goods, supporting overall business objectives and customer satisfaction in the Canadian market.

Responsibilities:

• Picking customers and interbranch orders and double-checking for accuracy prior to shipment.
• Unload inbound trucks and trailers (in compliance with safe material handling procedures) and stage the goods in the receiving lane as directed.
• Process inbound shipments, including sorting, quality checking, and count verification.
• Perform put-away of product on all levels of racking using appropriate powered material handling equipment where required.
• Other duties, such as organizing shelves, cleaning the warehouse, and other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, typically up to 50 lbs.

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
