Job summary

Purolator is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Pembroke, Ontario to join their team. The role involves unloading and sorting freight, scanning and weighing loads, and assisting with conveyor operations to meet tight timelines.

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, can work from 5:00 AM to 8:30 AM Monday through Friday, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary-to-permanent position with weekly pay.

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a time sensitive environment
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Attention to process, quality, and operational standards
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Responsibilities

• Unloading and sorting freight
• Preload up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt.
• Scanning, cubing, reweighting
• Build positive relationships with teams (couriers, lead hands and sorters)
• Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles
• Accurately scan, count the number of stops on a truck and write all premium products while loading.

Shift time: Monday to Friday, 5:00AM to 8:30AM
