Emerson is seeking a Warehouse and Production Manager to lead the production and warehouse teams on the shop floor in Elmira, Ontario, ensuring safety, quality, throughput, and productivity.
You will develop production plans, schedule staff, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with ISO standards and cross-functional objectives across Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, and Customer Service. Strong leadership and training skills are essential.
The Warehouse and Production Manager, under the direction of the Plant Manager, leads the production and warehouse team to ensure that accuracy, performance and production standards are met, with a focus on maintaining a safe work environment at all times. This role is responsible for the motivation, training, and leadership of the production and warehouse teams as well as the operational plans to meet and exceed customer requirements, while maximizing quality, proficiencies, throughput, and productivity of the location – requiring substantial time on the shop floor.
Youset objectives to align with broader organizational goals, breaking them down into appropriate initiatives and actions; stage activities with relevant milestones and schedules, and anticipate and adjust effective contingency plans. You readily take action on challenges, without unnecessary planning, displaying a can-do attitude in good times and bad times while stepping up to handle tough issues. You provide clear direction and accountabilities, delegate and distribute assignments and decisions appropriately and monitor progress by maintaining dialogue on work and results. You provide timely and helpful information and deliver messages in a clear, compelling and concise manner. You follow through on commitments and make sure others do the same. And you work cooperatively with others across the organization and gain the trust and support of others.
Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary/pay range for thisrole is $90,000 - $105,000 annually (not more than 50k difference)+ bonuses, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
