Compugen Inc in Richmond Hill, ON is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Associate 1 to join the Operations Warehouse & Logistics team. You will handle receiving, order picking, and shipping tasks while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and 1-3 years in warehousing, comfortable with RF scanners and warehouse equipment, and a ready-to-learn, team-oriented approach. This role offers structure, growth, and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of warehousing/logistics experience is beneficial.
• Fall arrest training and working at heights.
• Proficiency with RF scanners and basic computer systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• License to operate Reach truck and powered pallet truck is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime (evenings/weekends).

Responsibilities

• Receiving: unload inbound trucks and stage goods in receiving lanes.
• Process inbound shipments with sorting, quality checks, and count verification.
• Complete stocking tasks and organize inventory.
• Order picking: retrieve goods from storage per pick slips.
• Deliver goods to configuration/shipping area and to staging.
• Process orders with tracking information and update systems.
• General: lift/move equipment and keep the facility clean and organized.
• Adhere to Health and Safety protocols at all times.

This role will focus primarily on order picking and material stocking but will be engaged cross-functionally to enable flexibility within the team to adjust to the changing needs and priorities for the day. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about learning, relentlessly curious, collaborative, and has a desire to make a difference. **Key Responsibilities:** **Receiving**: * Unload inbound trucks and trailers and stage goods in receiving lanes * Process inbound shipments which includes sorting, quality checking, count verification etc. * Complete stocking tasks **Order Picking:** * Retrieve goods from storage locations as per details of pick slips * Deliver goods to applicable area for configuration/shipping * Retrieve product and deliver to staging * Complete applicable computer transactions for documentation **Shipping:** * Retrieve orders from shipping lanes * Prepare orders for shipment * Process orders with appropriate tracking information **General:** * Lift, move, reposition equipment; ensure cleanliness and organization of warehouse facility * Open, close, tape and label packages; wrap product * Stack and unstack product; move pallets * Support Inventory Control team as needed * Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols at all times **Skills & Qualifications:** * High School diploma or equivalent * 1 - 3 years of experience in a warehousing, logistics and transportation environment is beneficial * Fully trained for fall arrest and working at heights * Proven proficiency with use of computers, computerized business management systems and use of RF scanners * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work in a fluid and fast paced environment, with frequent short timelines. * Fully licensed and experienced in the operation of Reach truck (with reverse steering), Powered Pallet truck, Order Picking Platform truck would be an asset * Ability to work overtime (evenings and weekends) to respond to customer (internal or external) needs **What Compugen Offers You:** * Exciting, fast-paced challenging work environment * A culture where authenticity and diversity are valued * Professional development * Participation in Women in Technology Network * Opportunities to give back to our local communities * Collaborative supportive team members * Work/life flexibility **Equity Statement** At Compugen, we are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.
