Aerotek in Elora, Ontario is seeking a Walkie Operator to safely operate a double-end walkie, pick and build customer orders, and move inventory around a modern warehouse. The role includes lifting and repetitive tasks with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Shifts are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with flexibility for both. Hourly pay starts at $22.15, with onsite work and Raymond equipment in use.
This role focuses on safely and efficiently operating a double end walkie to move, load, and transport products throughout a modern warehouse environment. You will accurately select and build customer orders, perform repetitive physical tasks during the shift, and help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

Operate a double end walkie safely and efficiently in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Accurately select, pick, and build customer orders according to established procedures.
Load, move, and transport products throughout the warehouse using material handling equipment.
Use RF scanners or voice-picking systems to complete order picking tasks when required.
Perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift, including lifting and moving products.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all housekeeping standards.
Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and equipment operating procedures.
Support inventory handling activities, including picking and moving stock as directed.
Participate in training on designated shifts and remain flexible to work assigned shift times.
Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Valid Walkie Rider license from a recognized or preferred forklift training provider.
Proven ability to operate a double end walkie and other material handling equipment.
Ability to lift 2050 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
Clear English communication skills for following instructions and safety procedures.
Experience with inventory handling, order picking, and material handling in a warehouse setting.
Comfort working with RF scanners and related warehouse technology.
Previous order picking experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Experience using RF or voice-picking systems is considered an asset.
Familiarity with reach trucks and other Raymond equipment is beneficial.
Ability to work flexibly on different daytime shifts as required.
Reliable personal transportation to and from the facility due to limited public transit access.
You will work in a clean, modern, and climate-controlled facility that uses quality Raymond equipment and emphasizes safety, organization, and efficiency. The environment supports stable daytime hours with weekday shifts, offering a predictable schedule and the opportunity to build strong skills in material handling and warehouse operations.
The role is based in a very clean, new warehouse facility with bright lighting and climate control, providing a comfortable and well-maintained workspace. All material handling products and equipment are Raymond brand. There are no afternoon shifts; available shifts run Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and flexibility for both shifts is required, including initial training on the 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shift for a few days. Public transportation is not available nearby, so employees need their own vehicle to commute to work. The work involves repetitive physical activity, including lifting 2050 lbs and operating warehouse equipment throughout the shift, in a safety-focused and orderly environment.
This is a Contract position based out of Elora, ON.
The pay range for this position is $22.15 - $22.15/hr.
