Job summary

Citco is seeking a senior leader for Private Assets Fund Accounting in Toronto. You will lead a team to deliver NAV calculations, financial statements and client reporting for private equity funds, ensuring regulatory and internal standards are met.

You will drive process improvements, oversee audits, and collaborate across Investor Relations, Tax and Financial Reporting to maintain high client service levels. Hybrid work in Toronto with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA)
• 8+ years public/Private Equity accounting experience
• Proven leadership experience at VP level or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of waterfall structures, modelling and calculations
• Experience with general ledgers and financial statements
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Project management skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and PE accounting platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of managers and staff
• Execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives
• Oversee resource allocation to meet client SLAs
• Oversee periodical Net Asset Value calculations for Private Equity Funds
• Review fund expenses and fees
• Review accounting work, investor statements and reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal and external standards
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients
• Coordinate external audits and onboarding of new clients
• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives
