Job summary

Nature Conservancy of Canada seeks a visionary Vice President, Philanthropy in Toronto to lead the organization’s fundraising growth and donor engagement. This senior role reports to the President & CEO, with expanding national responsibilities and a mandate to transform philanthropy across Canada.

We are a national conservation charity, seeking a strategic leader who can grow major gifts, manage a high-performing team, and partner with the CEO, board, and donors to fund conservation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in philanthropy and advancement.
• Proven record closing multi-million dollar gifts.
• Experience leading national or multi-regional fundraising.
• Ability to work with CEOs, Boards and volunteers.
• Willingness to travel across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute NCC's national philanthropy strategy and revenue growth.
• Lead donor engagement, cultivation, and major gift solicitations.
• Build and manage a high-performing national philanthropy team.
• Collaborate with CEO, board and executives to advance fundraising.
