Job summary

Canada Company in Toronto seeks its inaugural Development and Operations Manager to build fundraising infrastructure, donor intelligence and strategies to grow the national program. You will lead prospect research, briefing materials and tailored fundraising strategies to engage major gifts, corporate partnerships and donor audiences.

The role also includes overseeing fundraising operations, donor database management, reporting and stewardship programs, with a focus on building scalable

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising, including major gifts and corporate partnerships.
• Proven ability to identify, qualify and cultivate prospective donors.
• Experience developing fundraising pipelines and donor segmentation.
• Strong donor stewardship and reporting skills.
• Experience with donor databases and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Managing Director to create and maintain donor and partnership pipeline.
• Develop and implement fundraising and donor engagement strategies.
• Lead prospect research, briefing materials and cases for support.
• Support donor meetings with research and logistics, with focus on major gifts and corporate partnerships.
• Oversee fundraising operations: donor database, tracking, reporting and analytics.
• Coordinate communications, proposals, sponsorship materials, and presentations.
• Represent Canada Company at meetings and events.
• Support events planning with the Event Coordinator.
