Blacksmith Agency is seeking a VP of Business Development for Roofing to own our largest multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. One win covers multiple markets, so the role is strategic and high-impact.

You will close $1M+ annual contracts with roofing groups, coordinate with owners and regional leaders, and expand after signing to more locations and services, backed by our inbound pipeline.

Qualifications

• A record of closing $1M+ annually on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into roofing groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers.
• You would rather close business than manage people.

No direct reports. This is an individual contributor seat going after strategic, multi-location roofing accounts: large groups you open and close yourself.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency running websites, SEO and paid media for roofing contractors operating across several markets. As VP of Business Development for Roofing, you own our largest multi-location roofing deals, from the first meeting with ownership to the signed contract. One win covers many locations, so each deal is large, multi-stakeholder and worth the work. Our sales development team and inbound put qualified meetings with these groups on your calendar, so your time goes to closing.

The seat

• $2M annual quota, carried on a small number of large accounts.
• Leads fed to you: meetings with roofing contractors operating across several markets, booked by our sales development team or inbound.
• No management. No team to build, hire or run.
• Strategic accounts: multi-market roofing contractors with many locations, where one signed deal covers the whole group and opens the next.
