Job summary

BDO Canada LLP seeks a Vice President (Manager), M&A and Capital Markets to lead advisory engagements across sell-side, buy-side and capital raises. You will develop client relationships, deliver market and financial analyses, and identify targets and investors while mentoring junior staff and driving growth in a dynamic, collaborative advisory team.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance/Accounting with CPA, CFA or CBV, 4–5 years of relevant experience and at least 2 in capital

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of relevant experience in finance, with at least 2 years in capital markets.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, autonomous, rigorous and able to work under pressure.
• Willing and able to travel as necessary.
• Market-facing and relationship-driven for future work.

Responsibilities

• Lead a range of advisory assignments including sell, buy-side and capital raising.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and engagement operations.
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to drive results.
• Identify acquisition targets, purchasers and investors/lenders.
• Generate new business opportunities in M&A and Capital Markets, building long-term networks.
• Mentor junior team members and drive growth in the team.
