Job summary

Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon is seeking a Volunteer & Community Engagement Specialist based in Vancouver with a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing engagement, while building strong partnerships with schools, businesses, and community groups.

You will develop youth volunteer pathways, support signature events, and collaborate with departments to expand awareness and improve volunteer experiences across BC and the Yukon.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in volunteer management or community engagement.
• Experience building community partnerships and coordinating programs.
• Nonprofit sector experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate volunteer recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Develop and maintain volunteer engagement tools and resources.
• Build and sustain community partnerships and youth volunteer pathways.
• Prepare regular volunteer reports and dashboards.
