Nova Scotia is seeking a Supervisor, Visitor Experience for the Shubenacadie Wildlife Park. The role oversees guest experience, staff supervision, and safety inspections to ensure exceptional service.

You will manage education programs, retail operations, and engage visitors online. Collaboration with Ducks Unlimited Canada and vendors is expected, with a seasonal schedule and a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Previous supervisory experience leading teams to achieve success and meeting operational requirements.
• Valid first aid/CPR certification (or ability to quickly obtain).
• WHMIS (or ability to quickly obtain).
• Clean Criminal Background Check, Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
• Class 5 Driver’s Licence.

Aufgaben

• Supervise, lead, motivate and develop the Visitor Services staff, volunteers and students.
• Oversee maintenance and safety inspections of the Wetland Centre facilities, displays and trail systems.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate wildlife, wetlands and environmental education programs.
• Manage Wetland Centre’s retail operations and inventory including POS system and reporting.
• Engage visitors via social media and interact with onsite vendors.
• Collaborate with Ducks Unlimited Canada on events throughout the year.
