The Public Service Commission, Government of Nova Scotia, is seeking a Supervisor of Visitor Experience for the Shubenacadie Wildlife Park. You will oversee guest experience, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead staff, volunteers and students through busy seasonal operations.

You will plan and deliver environmental education programs, manage retail operations, and collaborate with Ducks Unlimited Canada on events. Strong supervisory, communication and safety credentials are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree plus five years of related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Previous supervisory experience leading teams to achieve operational requirements.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to engage visitors and staff.
• Valid first aid/CPR and WHMIS certifications or ability to obtain quickly.
• Background checks including Criminal, Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse Registry.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, lead, motivate and develop Visitor Services staff, volunteers and students.
• Plan and deliver wildlife, wetland, environmental education, and interpretive programs.
• Manage Wetland Centre's retail operations and inventory (POS) and respond to vendors and social media inquiries.
• Collaborate with external partners on events and educational activities throughout the year.
