Job summary

RCMP Heritage Centre is seeking a leader in hospitality and tourism development to manage the Visitor and Client Experience portfolio during a maternity leave, with a view to transition to a permanent role. You will supervise the visitor services team and drive new experiences and revenue opportunities.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver compelling programs, packages, and campaigns, while maintaining exceptional visitor service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in customer service, tourism or hospitality.
• Experience managing and scheduling staff.
• Experience using a POS system.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.
• Bilingual English/French is a strong asset.
• Experience in nonprofit or cultural sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the visitor experience portfolio and supervise the visitor services team.
• Develop and implement new visitor experiences and growth strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to raise awareness and visitation.
• Lead campaigns and partnerships to increase revenue and audience engagement.
• Ensure excellent customer service and positive visitor experiences.
• Coordinate tourism experiences, events, and inventory management.
• Support CEO with data, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
