Qualifications

• Evidence of exemplary interpersonal skills
• Commitment to building collaborative learning environments
• Evidence of establishing structures and supports focused on concurrent academic and social / emotional interventions
• Evidence of leadership experience with diverse students
• Evidence of a graduate degree OR evidence of substantial completion with a firm completion timeline towards a graduate degree in education, leadership, or a related field
• Evidence of high expectations for student achievement, literacy assessment, and effective literacy programming and interventions
• Evidence of a commitment to leading and supporting professional development and school improvement initiatives aligned with division and provincial directions
• Evidence of a thorough understanding of how technology can be used to facilitate learning
• Commitment to completion of LQS Certification
• Evidence of successful experience as a Teacher Leader
