Vice-Principals play an integral role as part of the District management team and of the school to which they are assigned. They are responsible for overall supervision and operation of their individual schools and also play an appropriate leadership role in District initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Projecting a clear sense of direction consistent with District Vis
• Provide strong and visionary leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of school programs, policies, and practices.
• Foster a positive school culture focused on student learning, well-being, and achievement.
• Lead the school in creating and implementing an effective and inclusive curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
• Promote professional growth and development of staff through coaching, mentoring, and support for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with parents, school staff, and the community to build partnerships that support student success and enhance the learning environment.
• Ensure the school is compliant with all relevant policies, regulations, and legislation.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of school operations, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Support and encourage student involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership opportunities, and community engagement.
