Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Therapeutic Specialist, Vision Care for Alberta, based in Edmonton or Calgary, to lead business development within top customer accounts for glaucoma and dry eye products.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Commerce/Science or MBA) and at least five years in sales or marketing, preferably in pharma. Travel up to 50% and strong cross-functional collaboration will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science or MBA is required or related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Sales/marketing/head office operations experience.
• Pharmaceutical/Medical Sales experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with Key accounts and grow market share in glaucoma and dry eye.
• Create account-specific strategies in line with AbbVie guidelines and values.
• Collaborate with Medical and Institute teams to optimize knowledge and training.
• Develop comprehensive business plans to increase market share in the glaucoma and dry eye portfolio.
• Conduct regular sales reviews and coordinate national marketing programs.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing Key Accounts and new ones.
• Manage budget and resource allocation for the territory.
