Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership invites applications for a Fan Services role supporting suite fans at Scotiabank Arena and BMO Field. You will deliver championship customer service, greet fans, and coordinate with staff to resolve issues during events.

The position requires Smart Serve certification, a positive attitude, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a dynamic arena environment in Toronto. Prior VIP hospitality experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work weekdays as early as 4:00pm, and a variety of shifts on weekends and holidays as the need arises.
• Smart Serve Certificate required.
• Previous experience in VIP hospitality/ concierge services an asset.
• Work with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team focused.
• Work well under pressure; handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, with loud noise, bright lights and temperature fluctuations.
• Ability to handle possible emergency situations and unplanned events, situations and circumstances.
• Familiarity with the City of Toronto and tourist attractions an asset.
• A winning and engaging attitude.

Responsibilities

• As a valuable member of the Fan Services team, you will be responsible for the delivery of championship customer service to suite fans during a variety of Scotiabank Arena and BMO Field events.
• Greet fans in a welcoming and friendly manner
• Communicate positively and professionally with staff and fans
• Provide a friendly and informed response to any service related issue/inquiry
• Monitor and control guest access to all suites
• Act as an ambassador for the Fan Services department, SBA and City of Toronto
• Participate in special events/promotional activities for Executive Suite clients as the need arises
• Attend pre-event and post-event briefings
• Liaise with maintenance, housekeeping and food & beverage departments to ensure reported problems or concerns are resolved in a timely manner
• Ensure adherence to MLSE service standards and policies
• Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
• Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies
• Perform other duties as required
