OVERVIEW

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are seeking experienced English into Vietnamese translators to join our growing team for a global client, a music streaming company offering services such as music streaming and podcasts. The successful candidates will take ownership of incoming work on this account and actively contribute to the program's success.

Project Details:

Job Title: English into Vietnamese Creative UI and Marketing Senior Translator/Reviewer

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote (US or Canada-based)

Task Type: Translation, Copy Editing

Estimated Work Volume: 15 hours/week

Employment Type: Freelance

MAIN DUTIES

• Translate and review content from English into Vietnamese, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience.
• Content types include: 'Informational', 'Legal', 'Marketing', 'Product', 'Support'.
• Use CAT tools, specifically Smartling.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Minimum 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content in relevant subject areas.
• Proficiency in marketing, product, legal, and informational content.
• Experience with translation and terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Vietnamese with native fluency.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, including character restrictions.
• Effective communication of transcreation rationale.
• Knowledge of UI and customer support content, as well as creative content like titles and synopses.
