Main Purpose of the Job

We are seeking English into Vietnamese translators to join our expanding team for a global client, a music streaming company offering services like music streaming and podcasts. The selected candidates will manage incoming work and contribute to the success of the program.

Project Details

• Job Title: English into Vietnamese Creative UI and Marketing Senior Translator/Reviewer
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Remote (US or Canada)
• Task Type: Translation, Copy Editing
• Estimated Work Volume: 15 hours/week
• Employment Type: Freelance

Main Duties

• Translate and review content from English into Vietnamese, ensuring the original meaning is preserved and the content is understandable for the target audience.
• Content Types: Informational, Legal, Marketing, Product, Support
• Use CAT tools, specifically Smartling, for translation tasks.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in translating and reviewing relevant content.
• Proficiency in marketing, product, legal, and informational content translation.
• Familiarity with translation and terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Some proficiency in Vietnamese; native fluency preferred.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, such as character restrictions.
• Effective communication of transcreation rationale.
• Knowledge of UI and customer support content, as well as creative content like synopses and episodic titles.
