Main Purpose of the Job

We are seeking experienced English into Vietnamese translators to join our expanding team for a global client, a music streaming service offering entertainment such as music and podcasts. The selected candidates will manage incoming work and contribute to the program's success.

Project Details

• Location: Remote (US or Canada-based)

Main Duties

• Translate and review content from English into Vietnamese, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed clearly and understandably.
• Content types include informational, legal, marketing, product, and support materials.
• Utilize CAT tools, specifically Smartling.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years' experience in translating and reviewing relevant content.
• Proficiency in marketing, product, legal, and informational translation.
• Familiarity with translation and terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Vietnamese with native fluency.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, including character restrictions.
• Effective communication of transcreation rationale.
• Knowledge of UI and creative content such as synopses and episodic titles.
