OVERVIEW

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are seeking English into Vietnamese translators to join our growing team for one of our global clients, a music streaming company offering entertainment services such as music streaming and podcasts. The selected candidates will take ownership of incoming work on this account and contribute to the program's success.

Project Details:

• Job Title: English into Vietnamese Creative UI and Marketing Senior Translator/Reviewer
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Remote (based in US or Canada)
• Task Type: Translation, Copy Editing
• Estimated work volume: 15 hours/week
• Employment Type: Freelance

MAIN DUTIES

• Translate and review content from English into Vietnamese ensuring the original meaning is preserved and the content is clear and understandable to the target audience.
• Content types include: Informational, Legal, Marketing, Product, Support
• Use CAT tools, specifically Smartling.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Minimum of 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject areas.
• Proficient in marketing, product, legal, and informational content.
• Well-versed in translation & terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Vietnamese, with native fluency preferred.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, including character restrictions.
• Ability to communicate the rationale behind transcreation skills effectively.
• Knowledge of UI and customer support content, as well as creative content like titles and synopses.
