Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative contract office furniture solutions, specializing in flexible, design-driven workspace solutions for businesses, architects, and designers. With a strong reputation for quality, customization, and sustainability, they have built a diverse dealer network and a loyal customer base across North America. As they continue to expand, they are investing in new business development initiatives to strengthen dealer relationships, drive market penetration, and increase brand awareness in the A&D community.

About the role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales to drive revenue growth and lead their sales strategy. This key leadership role requires a proven track record in building and scaling sales networks for progressive manufacturers. You’ll design and execute impactful sales strategies, expand market share, and mentor a high-performance team while aligning with our entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

● Develop and lead national sales strategy, with clear short- and long-term revenue targets.

● Lead sales and marketing teams to accelerate growth, ensuring alignment with company goals and KPIs.

● Build and manage a high-performing network of independent reps, dealers, and regional sales personnel.

● Cultivate relationships with dealers, specifiers, and decision-makers in the contract furniture ecosystem.

● Identify new business opportunities and underserved markets through data and field insights.

Responsibilities (continued)

● Implement scalable CRM and sales systems to support pipeline visibility, forecasting, and team accountability.

● Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

● Collaborate with leadership on product strategy and customer experience optimization.

● Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine go-to-market approach.

● Oversee sales and marketing distribution in the Canadian and US markets.

● Set sales performance goals and manage forecasting and resources accordingly.

● Assist in developing and reviewing independent rep account strategies aligned with the sales plan.

● Train and coach sales teams, providing ongoing development and performance evaluations.

● Analyze sales data to inform policy and assist channel partners in promoting sales.

● Oversee budgetary requirements and control expenditures.

● Lead sales team in maintaining relationships and closing deals with key clients.
