Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President, Institutional Sales, to develop and execute capital raising strategies targeting institutional clients, with a focus on private equity real estate. The role reports to the Head of Canadian Institutional Investments and involves strategic initiatives aligned with our corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Relationship Strategies: Engage institutional prospects, identify decision-makers, and effectively position our offerings.
  2. Capital Raising: Lead initiatives to identify, target, and secure investments from institutional clients.
  3. Prospect Engagement: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key prospects.
  4. Internal Collaboration: Work with senior management to align strategies with company objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record with institutional clients across Canada.
  • Strong business development skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Interest or experience in alternative investments.
  • Understanding of challenges faced by pension plans, endowments, foundations, and family offices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Educational and Professional Requirements
  • Relevant undergraduate degree; professional qualifications preferred.
  • CAIA and/or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Over 10 years of industry experience in institutional sales, asset management, or investment consulting.
  • Extensive relationships with institutional clients, especially in private markets such as real estate, private credit, infrastructure, or private equity.
Additional Details

This position is based in Toronto and requires onsite presence.
