Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President, Institutional Sales, to develop and execute capital raising strategies targeting institutional clients, with a focus on private equity real estate. The role reports to the Head of Canadian Institutional Investments and involves strategic initiatives aligned with our corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Relationship Strategies: Engage institutional prospects, identify decision-makers, and effectively position our offerings.
  • Capital Raising: Lead initiatives to identify, target, and secure investments from institutional clients.
  • Prospect Engagement: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key prospects.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with senior management to align strategies with company objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record with institutional clients across Canada.
  • Strong business development skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Interest or experience in alternative investments.
  • Understanding of challenges faced by pension plans, endowments, foundations, and family offices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Educational and Professional Requirements
  • CAIA and/or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Over 10 years of industry experience in institutional sales, asset management, or investment consulting.
  • Extensive relationships with institutional clients, especially in private markets such as real estate, private credit, infrastructure, or private equity.

This position is based in Toronto and requires onsite presence.
