In addition to a cruise terminal, GVHA is responsible for the operation, growth, development and stewardship of four marinas, a fuel dock, and several world-renowned tourist destinations. GVHA’s commercial activities generate more than $33 million in annual revenue that is reinvested into the growth and development of these iconic properties.

GVHA operates on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən People, known today as the Xʷsémpsəm (Esquimalt) Nation and Songhees Nation, and is committed to advancing these relationships through meaningful and ongoing collaboration.

GVHA is entering a period of transformational growth and opportunity, and with this evolution comes the need for a Vice President, Finance & Administration. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Finance & Administration is a key member of GVHA’s executive leadership team and is responsible for the strategic leadership, stewardship, and management of GVHA’s financial and corporate services. The role advises the CEO and Board on financial performance, organizational oversight, governance, and business transformation. The Vice President, Finance & Administration will also lead annual strategic planning and business planning processes.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished financial leader with a finance/accounting designation (potentially an MBA), and have experience in complex, multi-partner business environments. Through strong financial stewardship, operational leadership, and organizational and strategic planning, the ideal candidate helps ensure a commercially-driven, high-performing culture that supports growth, and a customer-focused service excellence.
