Job summary

Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA) seeks a Vice President, Finance & Administration to lead financial and corporate services. Reporting to the CEO, you will guide financial strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance while partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders.

The role requires an accounting designation (CPA/CA) and demonstrated success in complex, multi-partner environments; an MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Accomplished financial leader with a professional finance/accounting designation (CPA/CA) and experience in complex environments.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA is desirable for strategic and governance responsibilities.
• Proven ability to advise executive leadership, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership over GVHA's financial and corporate services.
• Advise the CEO and Board on financial performance, governance, and transformation.
• Lead annual strategic and business planning with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee finance, HR, IT, contract administration, and enterprise risk management.
