Job description

Our client is an iconic Canadian branded manufacturing and distribution company looking to add a VP Finance to their team on a full-time basis. Candidates should be able to work in the North York office 4-5 days per week and have experience with high-growth or PE-backed ventures. The company has $150 million in revenue and offers an attractive compensation package including a generous base salary, bonus, and equity.

As the VP Finance, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Managing day-to-day and period-end accounting, reporting, audits, and leading the accounting team, including the Controller.
2. Implementing a new ERP system and process improvements.
3. Designing operational and plant-level reporting, KPIs, etc.
4. Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes.
5. Assisting with the integration of acquisitions and analyzing potential acquisitions.

Qualifications:

1. CPA designation (CPA, CA preferred) with 15+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment backed by PE.
2. Ability to work in the North York office 4-5 days per week.
3. Capability to handle multiple responsibilities listed above.
